Reykir - part III
Eiríkur came home today ... not that he was expelled from school camp... The weather forecast for the next 24 hours is very bad and it was decided to come back early. The only compenstation for him is that he gets tomorrow off school :)
The trip was great and I will proably get the stories from him over the next few weeks! The first one was that he and the other boys in his class were used as a "hairmodels" which explained the funny hairdo !!

Reykir, cont...
According to an e-mail from Eirikur's teacher everything is going well at Reykir! I can't wait to hear all the stories on Friday!
Reykir
Eiríkur went with his school to Reykir in Hrútafjörður for 5 days - he left the house very excited yesterday morning and will be back on Friday. I miss him like mad but Sandra seems quite pleased to have some time with me on her own!

How time flies....
Thursday was Atlantik night at Hótel Borg - with fabulous food, lots of good wine and smiling people :)
Friday was a dinner party night at my house... Stefán made chicken curry for the grown-ups, I made lasagne for all the kids and Halli and Ella made the desert (lovely "bounty" cake with ice cream and hot chocolate sauce). Yummy. The funniest thing the evening was the trick played on Stefán - well this is the price you pay when you doze off on the sofa hehe!
Saturday was spent walking and swimmming - then a lovely dinner at Vesturberg, great leg of lamb!
Lazy Daisy Sunday will be spent walking in town with Sandra, Silja, Sissa and Kristján. Now another exciting week begins!

KHI and Halibut Heads...
I sooo enjoyed going to KHI (The Teacher's Training College) this morning to talk about the International School and I got a lot of good feedback from the students there. Also knew quite a few of them which was great fun :)
Also enjoyed eating halibut heads (TRUE!) at Bjössi's house tonight. Kids had a nice spagetti (with no eyes) made by Bjössi and played an Eye Toy game with Jenny and Axel. Eyes seemed to have been the theme tonight!

Movies, Plays and Brazilian Beans
Friday night was spent at Monica's eating brazilian food - loved the beans and the fried bananas! Thank you Monica and latino friends :)
Left the party early to see the movie This is England, pretty good but not my favorite Green Light movie so far.
Loved, however, the play at the Student Theatre (Stúdentaleikhúsið) on Saturday night - nice and fresh.
Lazy Sunday - Súfistinn for a brunch, Sunday drive in Hafnarfjörður, book-store browse and a late night walk with Birta at Seltjarnarnes in the wind! This is what Sundays are all about...
Many nice things in store for the next weeks :) Watch this space for more news!
