Ísafjörður and more

Nice weekend in Ísafjörður despite the cold weather. Saturday was much better and it was such a joy to look after the passengers from Thomson Spirit. I was also invited to have both breakfast AND lunch on board the ship which was a real treat.

Back home and at work - where else :) Nice outings last night, enjoyed it very much...

Back in Action!

...and already back @Atlantik behind my desk. I just sent off some guides and coaches - nest step is to find out how much each guide should get paid for the month of July!

Kids are very happy with their grandparents! Life is getting better as my health improves :)

A cold and cough...

I am home with a bad cold and a nasty cough :(

Kids are happy with grandparents looking after their vegetable gardens. The sun is shining and I would much prefer to be outside than on the sofa under a blanket...!

Mikel is here!!!

Anna and I went last night to the airport to pick up our family from Pamplona!!! It was great to see Mikki again and we all felt very happy :) Mikki's wife Rakel is so lovely and I can't wait for Sandra and Eiríkur to meet with Mikki and Rakel's two boys - Ibai (12 years old - his name means River in Basque!) and Oihan, who is 8 years old (Oihan means Forest in Basque). We all look very much forward to the next two weeks with them here in Iceland!

Fimmvörðuháls

I meant to tell you all about my adventures at Fimmvörðuháls as last weekend I walked 25 km over a mountain pass from a place called Skógar to Þórsmörk over night. I am still waiting for some pics to show you to prove how beautiful it was! So stay with me and show some patience :)
