Mystical Lake!

Loved the mystical athmosphere at Þingvellir yesterday. Sandra was so pleased with her visit and thought it was magical to walk on the icy lake.

More movies ;)

This time we saw the movie Slumdog Millionaire - I must confess that I liked it better than the book. Several other movies or on my list of must-sees but there is never enough time for all the movies I want to see!

It was a real movie weekend as Rebekka and Sunna went to see Bride Wars, Eiríkur and Alex went to see The Wreastler and I took Sandra and Silja to see Hotel for Dogs. Sandra was seeing it for the second time but enjoyed it so much that she was ready to see it again with her classmates!!!

Viky, Cristina, Barcelona

Just saw the new movie by Woody Allen - Viky, Cristina, Barcelona - and enjoyed it very much :) It is a good start to the weekend!

Le Renard et l'enfant

We saw the movie Le Renard et l'enfant Saturday night - nice movie but not a "must see" like the March of the Penguins. It was interesting to hear the filmmaker, Luc Jaquet, explain why he made the movie and it definately gave it extra depth :)
