Another Super Hike!

Last week was spent hiking in the mountains. I walked with a group of wonderful people from Landmannalaugar to Þórsmörk, camping three nights on the way. We had sunshine and beautiful weather the whole time :) I will be posting some pictures soonest.

At the end of the hike on Friday I was very happy to meet my kids again. Thanks to my parents and Anna for looking after my kids while I was away!

Sandra and Eiríkur arrived with the bus in Langidalur on Friday night and we camped together for the weekend. Eiríkur played with Askur and Breki the whole weekend, mainly by the stream but Sandra and I had "cozy" moments, went for walks and enjoyed long chats.

Thanks for everyone who made this trip so wonderful, esp. to my hiking partners, my wonderful camping companion and everyone who came to meet us in Thorsmörk for a long outdoor party! A week to remember :)

Mamma mía!

My kids are back - and now I am a happy Mamma Mía again :)

And we of course went to see the "Mamma mia" movie together last night and had a great time.

Grundarfjörður again and again!

Spent all of yesterday in Grundarfjörður - I still like that place but there is only so much you can explore in this small town :) Here is a picture of the harbour from the website for fishermen - thought I might include it as I spend most of the time at the harbour!

Þingvellir, Laugarás, party at a summerhouse... sunshine and the lake... couldn't be better...

Grundarfjörður

Had a lovely day at work out on Snæfellsnes. Left Reykjavík at 03:50 in the morning so I was a bit worn out at the end of the day. Grundarfjörður is always nice :)
