It is official....!

I have graduated from Kennaraháskólinn with a B.Ed degree with 8,23 average grade. The certificate was delivered to my doorstep yesterday and I was delighted to receive it. Well screaming and shouting and jumping up and down with the kids.

This is, however, my second University graduation where I am absent on the day - I think I will try to make it to the next one.

And I have finally got a title for the phone directory...

Soffia's Birthday!

Sandra and Silja are going to visit their cousin Soffia Sara today (Ragnhildur's younger daughter) and celebrate her birthday with her. Six years old and starts school in the autumn.

Eirikur decided to visit his friend Steinþór in Kópavogur so both my younger kids have fun plans today. Rebekka is at Nóatún - fun factor is unknown...

Beautiful evening

So enjoyed the lovely weather last night, managed a quick swim after work as the kids were at David's and then walked to Seltjarnarnes to pick them up. Sunna was visiting Rebekka and we all watched the old movie "Four Weddings and a Funeral" before going to bed.

More cruiseships this morning - this time the lovely Oriana!

At work....

Rest of the summer will be spent at work... in the Atlantik office or at the pier.

Kids stayed with my parents overnight as I had to work until late in the evening and this may happen again tonight. Then hopefully I have next two days with them before the move to their dad's for two weeks. I will miss them dearly.

More later!

Back in Iceland!

And of course back to work. Busy day to day with the German cruise ship AidaBlu in harbour. I even had to guide in German which was quite an effort after listening to Spanish for 3 weeks.

Will be telling you more about the trip to Calpe in my next posts... and hopefully post some pictures as well.

Thursday

Todays achievement was to take Birta to Grundarfjördur where she will spend three weeks with her dad Bessi and his family. She was so happy to see everyone and run around with Bessi - but then just wanted to jump into the car with us and drive back home. We miss her already...

I also said a quick good-bye this evening to Tatti Greenberg, my yoga teacher. She is moving back to Finland and I wish her all the best!
