I saw two movies over the weekend - Wild Hogs which was surprisingly entertaining and Lady Chatterley in French (part of the French Film Festival in Háskólabíó) which I enjoyed very much!
Eiríkur missed his music performance today as he was up most of the night with stomach cramps. He is feeling a bit better, but still not eating much and feeling weak and tired.
... went by in a flash! We have all been very busy with schools and work and all sorts of extra programmes.
Sad news reached us at Hringbraut today. Emma Katrín, the 8 year old daughter of Gísli and Gréta, has been diagnosed with von Recklinghausen disease. There is nothing we can do but send strenght and positive thoughts to this little girl from all of us.
We have read the last page of Eragon!!!!!
Frazer, Freud, Durkheim, Evans-Pritchard, Eliade and Cantwell Smith.
Another weekend has passed. A part from a trip to the swimming pool, a walk in Kópavogur and an evening at a coffeeshop, the nicest part of the weekend was Saturday night!
This time it was Music & Lyrics. I must admit that it was a good laugh!
Eiríkur and I have read 468 pages of Eragon so far - only 32 pages to go before we can start on the second one in the series (The Eldest) which is over 600 pages if I remember correctly...! We love the story :)
Nice meeting here at my house last night, some friends came over to plan Sunday walks in the summer. It is a shame that I will not be able to join many of them!! But I have signed up for "Fimmvörðuháls" on June 22nd with Útivist and looking very much forward to it !!!
All kids went to school today so I can continue to work on my paper for the course on the world's religions. I am writing about religion and marriage - how appropriate :) I am learning a lot of new things at the same time as really enjoying the research!
Sandra is feeling much better - but staid home from school today as she has not eaten anything since Saturday. To make up for a dull weekend she has made her mother play the "Olsen, Olsen" card game at least a hundred times...!
It has not been a good weekend for Sandra and she is feeling very sad because she is ill. Poor little thing has had an headache since Wednesday and has now been ill in her stomach since yesterday. And this is what she has missed so far:
